Fly Fishing the McKenzie River
Vida, Oregon | Full-Day Women’s Adventure
June 20, 2026
Want to experience the joy and beauty of fly fishing on one of the most pristine rivers in the country?
Join us on the iconic McKenzie River for a full-day, beginner-friendly fly fishing adventure designed specifically for women. Floating from Finn Rock to Ben and Kay Dorris Landing, you’ll spend the day in a classic drift boat chasing redside rainbow trout, surrounded by crystal-clear water, lush forest, and some of the most scenic stretches Oregon has to offer.
This trip is all about learning, relaxing, and enjoying the experience—whether it’s your first time picking up a fly rod or you’re looking to build your skills. With a 1:2 guide-to-angler ratio, you’ll get personalized instruction and plenty of time to practice casting, learn techniques like dry flies and nymphing, and gain confidence on the water.
And just like all Salty Sisters adventures, it’s not just about the fishing—it’s about the experience, the connection, and a day spent doing something a little different.
